wood hauling time

Husband and I , hauled some wood yesterday, it was a good day for it! And it brought me back to thinking of my dad, he loved being out doors, this a piture of him bringing some wood for us! Did you know that wood will heat you 3 diffent times ! 1. putting it in the wagon, 2. thowing it out of the wagon, and 3. putting it the stove.* my husband told me I forgot one and it is cutting the wood . :)

I used to enjoy cutting wood with my son several years ago .I always enjoyed a fire place in winter . Loved to go outside and smell that redoak and pecan smoke coming out of chimney. Blessings and have a good Sunday? RON.

Such a great surprise to see our Poppy. I tried to print, but all it printed was the mules. I saved it and will try to print it from another program I have for photos.

Indeed. You are So right. I've experienced this heat you refer to. Great memories...I can tell.

Lately this is the job I'm doing every day. Besides heating a person three different times it makes for some good sleeping at night after a day in the woods!
God Bless!

I perfer the heating from putting the wood in the stove, I let Jerry do the other two kinds of heating. LOL

we used to heat with wood for years and years ... and i loved the way it felt - it got the cold out of every corner ... this year, in our rental, it's been baseboard ... and the condo has a forced air electric ... but NOTHING can beat wood! mmmmmmm, can anyone say "warm" ...
