thought we were going to get rained out before we even got started. but it was just a few drops , so we stayed. We caught a few but had to let them go , so they could grow somemore.
Then the buzzard started flying around , so I took off with my camera and walked down the shore, to what i could find.
It was a very good day!

we did have fun, it had been 3 year since we had been fishing.
Hi Jel ~~ I am glad you had a good day fishing on your birthday, I am sorry to have missed it. What a great idea to make jam and marmalade and can vegetables for the winter when they don't grow.
I used to love seeing lots of preserved fruits etc, but can't do it now.
