Fishing on my Bday

Last thursday, dh took  me fishing .
thought we were going to get rained out before we even got started. but  it was just a few drops , so we stayed.  We caught a few but had to let them go , so they could grow somemore.

Then the buzzard  started  flying around , so I took off with my camera  and walked down the shore, to what i could find.

It was a very good day!

it was the only way too keep things.

we are going to try canning some more stuff ,  come winter and the snow is falling (if we get any this year)

a Perfect Country Christmas

TO ME would be a little cabin in the woods , with a warm fire going,   a long deep couch facing the  fire,
with hubby and me,  drinking  applecider and listing to some Bluegrass Christmas music.
that would be SWEET.
