Part one

have been going though some pictures .

some pictures of before I was born, and some when I was growning up.

and a lot has change, from then too now, I was brought up on old storys , of hunting and how things were back then, I must be getting old , cause I'm wishing I would have payed more mind to them!

Here is a shot of my dad when he was young, with his hound dogs, and it reminded me of the movie , " Where the Red Fern Grows" that was a very good movie.

More of us should have been like Poppy, he enjoyed his life at all ages in the most basic ways!

I, too, wish I had listened more intently to my father's and grandparents' stories. I wish I would've asked them more about their lives, pushing for details. Thank goodness we at least have wonderful photos like THIS one to remember them by!!
