heard something  the other night in the chicken coop, wait a min.  I'm getting ahead of myself here.

The other morning, I thow some popcorn to the chicken , (cause they really like it)!  but  went back just a few seconds later   to check on something ,  and the popcorn was gone.
Didn't  give it much thought , they mustof  been hunger.  any hoo,  the day went by.  We had to go somewhere  and didn't get back until  dark .   When  I got in the house , I  remembered I hadn't shut the chickens up.
So  as I was going to the coop, that's when I  heard  something  coming from there, and  when I got there,
this is what i saw .
The chickens  were eatting the popcorn and watching a movie!

Hi Jel ~~ Better ending than I envisioned ) I imagined a fox had gotten to the chickens. Funny joke
watching a horror movie.
Thanks for your popping in to say Howdy. All is going OK here. Not
wonderful, but getting by. Take care
my friend, Love, Merle.

Hi from NZ.

came via dave's site.
I just did a post on NZ and perhaps you may like to visit us.

I chuckle when I read that you gave popcorn to your chooks.

My parents keep chicken, and we fed them with low grade dried corn.

We were playing "house" and made a fire, one of the chicken feed corn fell in the fire and we discovered homemade popcorn with chicken feed.

your TV reminds me when Mircowave ovens came, the TV were advertising with neighbours coming to use the microwave ovens and they sat infromt watching the chicken go round and round.

The movie was probably about Colonel Sanders.

Hi again Jel ~~ How kind of you to comment about my fire. It could have been so much worse, but gave me a shock. Thank you my friend.
Love, Merle.

Ha ha! Thanks for the chuckle! And thanks for stopping by my blog. As you know, I haven't been able to blog much lately, so it's good to know I still have friends out there. Take good care, of yourself and your fine feathered friends!

Do you remember 1975s, when Microwaves started, the ad was the neighbors came over to cook their chicken wanting to watch the chicken go round and round.

This year, my son reads too much Dr. Merola and he refuses to use the mirco wave.
