Bet they are so grand up there, getting to spend time with the Father and the Son.

Sure do miss you, things aren't the same here with you gone. Guess what The Cards won the World Series , this year knew you would like that! Well guess I better go, got to go feed Polly , I think she miss you and papajack too!

and you know I never , had that much too say anyway! well tell everyone there I said hi! and give my little one a hugg!

wood hauling time

Husband and I , hauled some wood yesterday, it was a good day for it! And it brought me back to thinking of my dad, he loved being out doors, this a piture of him bringing some wood for us! Did you know that wood will heat you 3 diffent times ! 1. putting it in the wagon, 2. thowing it out of the wagon, and 3. putting it the stove.* my husband told me I forgot one and it is cutting the wood . :)

Tom turkey,and some of his friends , went to the store the other day and bought the bison suit,

tale of a donkey

there was this day, all long time ago, a man was walking down a country road, as sad as a person could be!

and as this man was waking down this road, he came upon , this here donkey, with his mouth stuck wide open, (the donkey) and the man asked the donkey how this happen,

and the donkey told the man, that he heard a joke, from the barnyard, and he laughed so hard that his jaw got stuck!

so beware don't go telling a joke, where a donkey can hear! :)

Things I like about spring

here are a few things I like about spring

in the country!

I love to see the dogwoods

I love to hunt for mushrooms and eat them too! :)

and I get to put our porch swing up!

If that old porch swing could talk, what tales it could tell!

There were the days, of Granpaw courting Grandmaw!

Or the time Paw kissed Maw, for the first time, and hope no one saw! Then you came along and had to be swung on it, before you would fall asleep!

And there were a many a night that you sit on grandpaw's lap, waitting for the firesflys, to come out !

And those summer days snapping peas with grandmaw, and listening to her talk, about the good old days!

Now here you sit all grown up, thinking to yourself,that life seen so simple back then just a swinging on,
